KAYMA E. LIBURD - SVP, Head of Leasing and Placemaking
Ms. Liburd is the SVP, Head of Leasing and Placemaking at Redbrick LMD. Ms. Liburd manages leasing and placemaking for the firms 1,000,000 + RSF of mixed-use development sites with the partners. She is responsible for working with the firms’ social impact partners to ensure they understand how funds are being deployed throughout the development process. In addition, Ms. Liburd works with the partners of the firm on special projects.
Prior to joining Redbrick, Ms. Liburd worked at JLL. Most recently, she was Head of the International Desk, in London, where she was responsible for business development and management of the firm’s corporate clients across Europe and Asia. In this role, she offered expertise in strategic consulting, site selection, acquisition of land and buildings, financial analysis, and leasing negotiations. Prior to that, Ms. Liburd worked in JLL’s Washington, DC office as a Vice President performing a similar role. Before joining JLL, Ms. Liburd was a Senior Consultant at CSC in San Francisco, CA where she analyzed business processes for Fortune 500 companies to help them improve operational inefficiencies.
Ms. Liburd received a B.A. in History and Government from Bowdoin College. Most recently, she received a Master’s degree from Georgetown University with a concentration in Real Estate Development and Finance. Her thesis was on Opportunity Zones and how to identify the best areas for development and to ensure that all stakeholders were able to mutually benefit from the legislation.
