Redbrick LMD is a vertically integrated real estate investment, management and development company, with a primary concentration in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. We specialize in large-scale, institutional-quality development projects with high impact, while also owning and managing a portfolio of existing operating real estate assets. We are one of the largest private landowners in Washington DC with a development pipeline of approximately 8 million sq ft, half of which is located in Opportunity Zones in the District of Columbia. We are intently focused on sustainability, health, wellness and connection to the community and the outdoors.

Our Foundation – Brick by Brick

2002

Tom Skinner founded Redbrick Partners with the intention of institutionalizing investment in the single-family housing asset class.

2005

William Passmore joined as a Managing Partner, bringing a sharp focus on risk management.

2006

Redbrick refocused on large scale projects in the Washington, DC metropolitan area.

2013

Redbrick builds 290 multifamily units at Beacon of Groveton.

2013

Louis Dubin, one of the top developers in the U.S., joined Redbrick as Managing Partner. Company name changed to Redbrick LMD.

2013 – 2020

Acquired first piece of land for what will become the Bridge District in 2013. Subsequent pieces have been purchased in the years to follow.

2015

Acquired 2,275 unit multifamily portfolio in Northern Virginia (The Amberleigh and The Vistas).

2016

Sold Beacon of Groveton.

2017

Redbrick LMD awarded Phase I of St. Elizabeths East new town center.

2019

Redbrick LMD and its development partners delivered 252 multifamily units at St. Elizabeths.

2019

Awarded Phase II of St. Elizabeths East new town center.

2019

Sold the Edgemoore apartments to Nuveen.

2019

Launched and closed the Redbrick Opportunity Zone Fund I.

2020

Launched Redbrick Opportunity Zone Fund II.

2021

Redbrick LMD and its development partners delivered 252 multifamily units at St. Elizabeths.

2021

Commenced construction on 88 townhomes at St. Elizabeths East.

2021

Broke ground on Whitman-Walker medical office building.
