The company has an ~8 million square foot pipeline of owned or controlled land in the Washington DC area, of which 4 million square feet are located in an Opportunity Zone. Three neighborhood developments — the Bridge District, Navy Yard, and St. Elizabeths East — are currently in various stages of development and construction. The majority of the land under development is along the Anacostia River in Southeast DC and adjacent to national parks, miles of pedestrian and bike trails, and accessible to public transportation via the Green Metro line.
Ten Redbrick LMD buildings are presently under design, development or construction, and all are designed to achieve ILFI Zero Carbon certification, putting Washington DC on the map as a leader in decarbonization.
