Joel Causey

Joel Causey has over 25 years of experience in the construction industry, primarily in the Metropolitan Washington region. At Redbrick LMD, he supports the Partners and EVP across all phases of preconstruction and construction, including design coordination, permitting, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, contract negotiation, and construction management.

Prior to joining Redbrick LMD, Joel served as a Senior Project Manager, leading complex construction and design efforts as well as asset acquisition initiatives. His experience spans commercial office, multifamily residential, higher education, medical, government, mass timber, and professional sports facilities, representing over $1.4 billion in total project value.

Joel serves on the District of Columbia Construction Code Coordinating Board (CCCB), appointed by the Mayor, where he plays a key role in drafting and shaping the District’s construction codes.
